A rare and powerful Tantric form of Lord Ganesha, worshipped for the removal of all obstacles and the fulfilment of desires.
Sri Uchishta Maha Ganapathy is one of the thirty-two forms of Lord Ganesha and is considered among the most powerful and esoteric. The word 'Uchishta' refers to the remnants of an offering — in the Tantric tradition, this represents the supreme state beyond purity and impurity, the non-dual reality. This form of Ganapathy is depicted in a six-armed form, radiating a blue complexion, and is associated with the granting of all wishes. Devotees worship Uchishta Maha Ganapathy for the removal of the most stubborn obstacles, success in seemingly impossible tasks, and attainment of both material prosperity and spiritual knowledge. At the Sri Aadhi Varahi Temple, this deity holds a place of great importance as the first deity to be worshipped before any ritual or ceremony, following the ancient tradition of invoking Ganapathy at the beginning of all auspicious endeavours.
Uchishta Maha Ganapathy is the remover of the most difficult obstacles. His worship is especially prescribed for those facing severe blockages in life, career, or spiritual progress.
