Sri Aadhi Varahi Amman Shrine
The presiding sanctum of the temple complex — home to the primordial mother goddess Sri Aadhi Varahi Amman, along with the idols of all seven Sapta Matrikas.
The Sri Aadhi Varahi Amman Shrine is the Moolasthanam — the sacred heart and presiding sanctum of the entire temple complex. Enshrined here is the primordial form of Sri Aadhi Varahi Amman, the commander-in-chief of the divine armies of Mother Lalita Tripura Sundari and one of the seven Sapta Matrikas. Alongside the presiding goddess, the shrine houses the idols of all seven Sapta Matrikas — the seven divine mother goddesses who together represent the complete spectrum of the Divine Mother's power and grace. The shrine also enshrines (currently as sacred pictures and yantras, with idols forthcoming) a constellation of fierce and protective divine presences: Sri Maha Kaali, Sri Maha Pratyangira, Sri Aadhi Muneeswaran, Sri Aadhi Karuppanasamy, and Sri Aadhi Veerabadhran — each representing a unique aspect of divine protection and grace.
As the Moolasthanam, this shrine is the source of all spiritual power within the temple. Every ceremony, ritual, and puja performed in the complex draws its sanctity from the divine presence of Sri Aadhi Varahi Amman enshrined here.
