The Sri Samba Sadashiva Murthy Shrine houses the supreme and eternal (Sada) form of Lord Shiva, always accompanied by the Mother Goddess Amba (Parvati). The very name 'Samba' affirms that Shiva and Shakti are inseparable — the masculine and feminine cosmic principles in perpetual union, the foundation of all creation. Devotees come to this shrine seeking marital harmony, liberation from the cycle of birth and death, and the grace of the transcendent divine.
